2. Data processing when visiting our website

When visiting our website, the following information will be automatically sent to our server:

  • IP address,
  • date and time of access,
  • name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • website from which the access was made (referrer URL),
  • the browser you use and, if necessary, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider

and temporarily stored by us. The legal basis for this processing is provided in Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

3. Data processing when placing orders

Data processing in the context of written/oral orders is used to handle all order-related processes. The legal basis is provided in Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Which data are concerned is shown in the input mask that you fill in when placing your order.

The following data processing is required to process your order:

your e-mail address will be used for electronic communication regarding your order and its execution. The legal basis for this processing is provided in Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.

In order to fulfil our contractual obligations, the order data will be transferred to the respective company and, if applicable, to the carrier who carries out the order or the booked services who will use the data for this purpose. The legal basis for this processing is provided in Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

4. Credit assessment

If your order exceeds a certain value, we carry out a credit assessment. For this purpose, we provide the required data (first name and surname of the managing director, company, address data) to the following credit agency:

Necessary assessments are made based on mathematical-statistical procedures. The calculation of the probability value also includes your address data. You may object to the transfer of your data to the credit agencies in writing at any time (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter). In the case of an objection though, Systra reserves the right to only offer you the payment method of “advance payment”.

The legal basis for the credit assessment is provided in Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in using the method of advance payment is keeping our credit risk as low as possible.

5. Further data processing

We also collect data which you explicitly provide us with. For example, during individual customer contact via e-mail or by phone. The data intended for collection will be communicated to you before the respective procedure unless they result from the nature of the given procedure.

This represents a legitimate interest for us and thus follows the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

6. Data processing for advertising purposes

Data processing for advertising purposes always constitutes a legitimate interest for Systra according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

You always a right to object to the processing of your data for advertising purposes and in the respective communication channel with future effect. As a result of the objection, the affected contact address for the respective communication channel will be blocked for further data processing. The objection can be submitted by e-mail or by post using our contact details.

7. Recipients outside the EU

With the exception of the below-described processing on our websites, we do not share your data with recipients located outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.

We do not use cookies on our websites.

To protect your data against unintentional or unlawful erasure, disclosure, access, manipulation or loss as well as against other misuse, appropriate technical and organisational measures are taken.

You may receive the data you provided us in a common machine-readable format or request that we send it to another controller.

Right to complain
You may contact the supervisory authority in your usual place of residence or our competent supervisory authority.

Right to restriction
You may exercise the right to restriction of data processing if the accuracy of the personal data is contested, the processing is unlawful, the data subject refuses the erasure of their respective personal data and instead requires the restriction thereof, the controller no longer needs the personal data for the processing purposes but the data subject requires them to assert, exercise or defend their legal claims or if the data subject objects to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR and it has not been decided yet whether the legitimate interests of the controller outweigh those of the data subject.

Right to object
The general right to object applies to all processing purposes described here, which are processed on the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Unlike the data processing described in the section entitled “Data processing for advertising purposes”, we are only required to meet your objection if you state reasons of overriding importance that result from a particular situation.
